Yes, proud to say I'm a 16%'er!
1. Lucky enough to start a career at a young age that had a defined retirement plan.
2. Saved money all my life, still do.
Saving money is a lot easier then many think although it takes years of real saving/investing to have it pay off. Of all the fellow employee's I've worked with over the years, (at least a hundred or so) we all basically made the same salary within a few thousand dollars of each other and myself and maybe a couple of others are the only one's financially secure for life. You only have one shot at saving for retirement, pretty simple.
