Exactly. SS payment goes up every year adjusted for inflation. Of course, Medicare premiums also go up every year so sometimes that cancels out a big chunk of the SS increase.

Awesome and thanks guys! That's what I thought but not quite certain. Would be terrible if the checks are fixed and everything else are going up.

Mentally speaking - I'm shooting for 100k for an interim goal, I think I'll need a lot more capital, but its something to work towards.

                    • Should i talk about how mu roth IRA imploded the other year and I went from $250k to $110k now? Or should i think positively that since starting my business I now have $98,678 in my own solo 401k. I'm pretty stoked with 4 years of contributions 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024!

Maxed out 4 years already. Made my contribution last week of $23k for 2024

Affirmative Thinking is the way to go, LAL. Don't want to think positive anymore as one does not want to be positive in areas like Covid and other illnesses, and also in many cases pregnancy. Affirmative is better. Affirming one's dreams. And on that note, affirm your success in your business, assets, and health.
