Just a question about security of the accounts that one uses to link to the online bank (Discover, Ally, etc.) -- is it safe to use a single checking account as the origin for more than one online banking account? DH is afraid about compromise. Is one safe for let's say 2 different online banks? Or should I open another account for that purpose? Any thoughts?

It is absolutely safe. Our one and only checking account is linked to every other financial account we have including online banks, credit cards, investment accounts, utility companies and insurance companies that we pay online, etc.Steve
