Where would you park funds that you knew you would need in 9 months? A loss on these funds would not be acceptable.

I am getting 1% at the bank, and pursue account bonuses (found by checking the DepositAccounts.com web site regularly).

Are there any other options out there?

But I just keep it in regular savings if you don't like to lose any value.

You are buying patient and discipline which comes really cheap.
