I just finished Tony Robbins recent book called "MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom" and found it quite helpful. It did a pretty good job of distilling investment strategies from top financial advisers/managers into something that was palatable by someone that's not in the industry (like me) 
I do not recommend trying to access any of the online tools he mentions in the book or Stronghold financial (mentioned throughout), but the basic principals seem sound and really helped me get a plan together for the future.
...and after these last 15 years of crazy up and down with real estate, stocks, etc. I needed a good strategy.
Anyway, I thought I would start a thread to discuss the book as I think it has some real value.
