Has anybody read this book? I'm contemplating buying it. Thoughts, suggestions, better books to read instead?

It's a good, quick read. It is simplistic, but does contain a great deal of wisdom. Not a bad book to have on your shelf, but you might want to check it out at the library.

Several easy reads on finance available to download from your library including Wealthy Barber series. My favourite easy read was The Automatic Millionaire [Bach]. I really like Kiplinger's online, very concise. Clash of Cultures or any of the books by Bogle are terrific audio, free from library to play in car if you drive to work. If you want to buy books to re-read, I suggest a secondary seller online but watch out for mail costs.

I agree. It is on my list of recommended reads. If you are just starting out or trying to get on track, it's a good book for changing your mindset and getting you on the right path.

I really like David Chilton's sense of humor, good book to get started with finances. Another one that you might like is Findependence Day, at the end of the book is a great resource section as well.
