  • What's the last stock you purchased?

I just bought stock in Yahoo -- I don't know why. I always think that they will live up to their potential and they always seem to fail me, but I seem to always want to give them another chance. It's a bad habit and I know it.

What is the last stock you purchased?

Citigroup at $1.30/share. I don't buy stocks very often at all, I'm mostly in index mutual funds, but that was too good to pass up. (I bought Ford at $2.02, also, but lost a bit on GM at $5.22 and Visteon at $1.18.)

        GILD

It is only up about 100% per year for the past 10 years.

AMD at $3.84 hoping it will increase later on, but the majority of my money is in index funds.

We don't buy stocks. Just mutual funds and ETFs.

I picked up some OGZPY in my Roth IRA in mid March. Hopefully it will hold it together for the remainder of the year.

                      NXPI stock at $57.50.

they are a semiconductor company based out of the Netherlands.

Huge growth in the past year.

Poised (hopefully) for huge growth this upcoming year.

It will be interesting to follow.

I just bought one share of AAPL yesterday, 10:28am PDT approximate.
I don't know why its market price hasn't made a 20% clunking drop like most of my "long" stocks do immediately after purchase.

Sorry, people. I should know by now that any optimistic investment I make in common stock is analogous to leaving a long brown "unwrapped chocolate bar" looking object in the public swimming pool.
