Is this really the price required to buy one share of BRK-A ?

    High price

That is the price for class A shares of Berkshire. Class B are just over 100.

Warren Buffet said he will never split the class A shares (preferred shares)

Funny...I checked this the other day and saw what it was at. I remember years ago, maybe 6ish years ago when it was around $100,000. Pretty cool. Thats my story.

I wouldn't want to buy BRK.A nor .Bs anytime soon.

One bad news about Buffett (even if it's expected) and this stock will take a tumble. And it is inevitable. I mean, the man is amazing and there are succession plans in place, but he is also getting old....

And then, if you still believe in it, then I think that would be a good time to buy. But that's just me rambling.

In 1996, I jumped up out of my office yelling "Brk-a is down to $70k, buy, buy!" everyone laughed. Warren also recommends that people should buy brk-a on his death because Warren says he has the best transition team ready to take brk into the future.
