Google stock - does it worth it?

As I see, Google stock's price is approaching $800...
Recent news tell that Google plans to open shops.
Do you think that it is going any further?

Google is probably the best company you can invest in. In the last few years they have grown and grown and grown, they have come from being a search engine to owning the Internet!

However I heard that the 2 creators of Google are going to retire soon and are selling all their shares of Google slowly. This could mean a low time for Google as the 2 heads and creators of the giant are stepping down.

I wouldn't tie up that much of my money into a $800 stock. I can find a lot better bargain stocks out there that have much more potential for growth, and I'd be able to buy a lot more shares of them.

I'm sure it's in enough of my index funds such that I have no need to hold such a high cost, high volatility stock outright.
