Roth IRA at 20, first workplace retirement plan at 25. I haven't always contributed the maximum but I have never stopped adding to it.

Age 28. I had to wait a year after I started my first 'real' job to enroll in a 401k. Prior to that I had been in school for a long time and just getting by. I make up for it now though my contributing the fed max to my 401k.

At 23 I started contributing to my profitsharing plan at work. I do need to start a Roth IRA though.

I am the lucky ones who get started during teenage, thanks to my father.

Started in my mid 30s, then wiped it out to pay for divorce from spend-thrifty wife. Started again from scratch in 2000......so I'm behind the 8 ball....arrrgh

Not until I was 32. I'm 48 now and am way behind where I should have my retirement savings. BTW, this is my first post.

Started investing and saving for retirement (401k) when I got my first real business job when I was 24. Didn't open up an IRA until the kids were out of daycare so only 2 years ago have about another 18 years to work.
