    Not true. If the Republicans didn't want this bill, they could've killed it with a filibuster. They're just publicly distancing themselves from it and nitpicking certain parts of it so they can say "I told you so" if it doesn't work. It's politics as usual.

      Well Kork, I wish I can say its going to change in congress but it won't. The word bipartisan is nothing more than a fantasy word that gets thrown around to make the general public think "hey at least they're working together". Whenever I hear that word I simply laugh, no matter what ideas the Dems conjure up, the Reps will be against, and vice versa.

        I would say that problems are really severe and the fact is that the world economy stands on US. It is hard to explain here, but if USA fails that will be a global threat for onshore and offshore banking systems and will end very badly.
