Agressive Portfolio Model

Hey all,

I have done a little reading about how to allocate my Roth IRA portfolio. Here is a generic model that I have come up with. Please critique!

International 20%
Small Cap 25%
Large Cap Growth 25%
Large Cap Value 20%
Bonds 10%

I know this is agressive but I am 24 years old and I will not be needed my money for a while!

Depends on what you want to accomplish. Some people believe there is no mid cap asset class, as many small cap funds hold 50% mid caps anyway.

I would NOT replace small with mid caps. I might break small cap up to 15% and make mid cap 10% or similar breakdown.

You could always get a Large Cap Core fund and knock down that percentage to Large Caps to 35%. Then u have room for midcaps!
