Provident direct offers 4.5 on high yield savings and 3.75 on CD's. I assume that the savings rate is an introductory rate that will change quickly after numerous new accounts have been opened.

I've never had an online account and am a little skeptical of this offer. How can I be convinced this is a good option, I'm looking for a place to put my EF and car fund with easy access.
