Nice article, I looked around the site and read this....
Finally, think twice about hanging your laundry out to dry. Even your clean clothes can be pollen collectors.
OH NO! Allergies can bag the energy saver of hanging clothes to dry! That thought had no occured to me.

box:
yeah... that is why i hang dry in the house... not outside.. i have two plastic dryers.. that hold a load of clothes.. i hang up tops, shirts, pants from cuffs with clothespins... towels hung up in bathrooms to dry... sheets, comforters, quilts, i lay over bed, sofa or chair and turn over in a few hours...not to mention, i have had clothes get rained on outside and more pollution...plus dust from the road...

Re: Good article on whether a deal is worth it
One of my kids has pollen and mold allergies. Hanging out his clothes is definitely a bad idea. We hang laundry in the basement, unless it is something large like a blanket. Then it goes outside--unless it is for the allergic child. His blankets go in the dryer or on the basement line there's space."There is some ontological doubt as to whether it may even be possible in principle to nail down these things in the universe we're given to study." --text msg from my kid
