I'm on Katherine's wagon, hope she wins but if not I won't be upset becuse I did not vote. I can't believe I am watching this show because for the longest time I did not watch reality shows

Re: Any one watching American Idol tonight?
Yeah, my kids love it! I admit to watching the original auditions because they're pretty funny, but once it gets into the actual competition, I have no interest.
It's a late hockey night tonight, so it won't be showing at my house!

Re: Any one watching American Idol tonight?
I was disappointed in AI this year. It seemed like everyone who had talent (Mandisa, Chris, Elliott) was booted!
I am glad Taylor won, but only because Katherine comes across as a very spoiled, bratty girl to me. At least Taylor had personality (although the boy should not be allowed to dance in public)
The best part of last night's show was when that Clay Aiken look alike got up on stage and started crying when Clay came out. That was funny.

Re: Any one watching American Idol tonight?
I was surprised that Taylor made it all the way. I liked him from the beginning but always had the sense that he would be booted at some point, and that he knew that and was just going to have fun and make as much of a name for himself as he could.
Personally, I didn't think McPhee should have been top three.
I was surprised when Chris was voted off, but he did have some rough performances when his voice started to give. He has a future regardless.
I was more surprised when Elliot was voted off. I thought surely he would be in the final two.
Anyway, I am a sporadic Idol watcher. I watched some of the first season, all of the second, none of last season, and some of this season, including all of the shows after it got down to six. Mainly, this was because of Chris and Taylor.
Please don't tell anyone that I watch.

Re: Any one watching American Idol tonight?
I thought Katherine was very talented, a bit more so than Taylor. Loved that southern accent, and what a performer; he really likes to entertain.
Can't believe I MISSED the show; i started watching Lost and forgot about Idol totally.
I think reality shows are more interesting than watching professional actors/actresses becus, well, it's not acting, it's genuine human reactions and responses, warts and all.
