  • What's the best part-time job for a student?

In an effort to pay off my mounting student debt and get some extra cash on the side for my daily expenses, I’ve been thinking of getting a part-time job while still attending university. I’m at my sophomore year, so I still have the time to squeeze in a couple hours of working throughout the week. So far, the best offer I’ve come across is training to become a top foreign dating coach and working three times a week. I’m open to suggestions though, so to anyone who can give me some tips, I’d really appreciate your response!

The best jobs for students are on campus jobs. My DD works at her university at a radio station and just basically sits at a desk and does homework or studies while waiting for the phone to ring.

If you want to make good money, I think the best part time job is a waitress/server at a busy restaurant. That's what I did thru college and I made a lot!

Thanks for your response! I think I'm gonna try looking for any on campus jobs since it sounds pretty laidback. Working as a server is not very ideal for me though, since I'm looking for a job I can do online or at a desk where I can do some school work in between tasks.

Check with your professors. If you are a good student they will probably be happy to direct you to various people they know. It's how I got my first job after my Master's Degree, and they directed me to two job while I was still a student.
Don't torture yourself, thats what I'm here for.
