    That's funny!

I have the same thinking about Target. Although I like the ambiance and not so crowded. I guess it really depends on people's preferences. If you want to save a little more, Wallmart might be a good choice.

Today I shopped the Target one-day sale.

      I bought:
      2 bottles shampoo
      2 anti-perspirant
      1 cold cream cleanser
      1 mascara
      3 dog chew toys

All are items I regularly buy.

Except the dog chew toys, everything was 25% off for the one-day sale.
And the chews were priced at the same price Amazon is currently offering as an "add-on item" price.

$33 ... with tax brought the order just over the $35 required for free shipping.

I paid using the gift card I bought last December at 10% off.

And I earned another $5 gift card for buying 4 qualifying beauty & personal care items.

Filthy stinkin' rich ... that's me.

I haven't been in Target since last fall.
They were giving out $5 gift cards if you got your flu shot there.

I haven't been to either Target or Walmart in over 5 years, and can't imagine what I'd buy there. We get most of the things from Costco, Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond. We buy all clothes and shoes online at deep discounts.

Agreed! I seldom shop Target for the same reason I never shop WM. I will be scr*wed if I find out Freddy's is up to no good.

What the heck people! The last time I checked Walmart was for rich people who don't care how much they pay. Those who do shop at Dollar General!

Really though I think it comes down to the store manager. We have both a very nice Walmart and Target here. Else where I have been in Targets that looked like KMarts on the inside. But yes in general they do tend to be nicer. I am not so sure about pricing though. For the most part it is a manner of conveniences as to which I shop at.

Wal-Mart is definitely cheaper, but more & more I hate going into their stores.

Target is more expensive but it seems people like gift cards more. I bought a ton and them turned around and bought the wedding gift card with it to target.
