Where does the money go w/out a DOE?

Until Congress actually dissolves the DOE, it's kind of premature to discuss it as it's just speculation.
That said, the Fed will probably continue to handle student loans and hopefully everything surrounding disabled students. I don't know enough about the rest of what DOE does but hopefully schools will continue to get the funds they currently receive. Even though Federal funds are a small piece of their budgets, like 5-10% I believe, losing that would still be disastrous for schools across the country and the millions of students involved. There's no way states can pick up that slack.Steve
