  • What is your rating with eBay, Uber, etc?

EBay 100% out of 163 raters.

Uber 4.92 out of 25 drivers.

I’m not sure which Uber driver dinged me because I consider myself polite and always wait outside before they arrive.

Ratings can affect your transactions and Uber drivers can decline if ratings are low.

eBay 100% out of 414 ratings.

I even made a pretty big mistake one time and swapped items for two different buyers. They were similar, but definitely different. I offered to pay shipping back and then resend, but both decided to keep what they were sent! And they still gave good feedback. I guess it is how I handled the situation that had to have helped.

eBay 100% with thousands or orders shipped, although I no longer use ebay.

Amazon 100% out of 397 raters although I have shipped thousands of orders from there as well.

eCRATER 100% our of 1029 raters and over 5000 orders shipped.

No uber or any car service is even available around here that I know of.

Funny, some newbie came to eCRATER and saw my feedback and seemed to imply that there was no way that I could have that rating and was somehow cheating the system. eCRATER WILL remove uncalled for feedback if it is provable however, and I think they have removed 2 of those for me. One being something about the inner workings of eCRATER that have nothing to do with me.

If you screw up, always offer to pay shipping to correct, that's a no brainer. And if both parties are willing to keep item, offer them discount or free shipping if they buy something else.

Ebay 100% with over 1,000 feedback.

I haven't checked Uber. I haven't used them that much.

It's easy to check your rating with Uber. Open the app, click on the three lines at the top left corner, your rating will show under your name on the next screen.

BTW, 100% with over 1000 reviews for both Gailette & Disneysteve, those are some tremendous accomplishments and not easy to accomplish. Keep up the good work.

as a rider? Strange that it isn't a 5.0 unless there was some sort of issue with one of the rides?

Yes, as a rider. I have no idea why it would be anything less than 5.0. We've only used Uber maybe 5 or 6 times and we've never had an issue with any of the drivers at all. There was one time the driver had trouble finding us but that wasn't my fault. We were in an industrial park and there really wasn't any good way to direct anyone to where we were.

Other than that, I can't think of anything. We always chat with the driver. I always hand him/her a cash tip as we get out. We're pretty easygoing.

                    haters gonna hate

my ebay rating is dinged with 1 negative because the dude bought an electronic part, damaged it, then wanted a full return on his money, and all my electronic listings say in bold "electronic devices are tested for 100% functionality, however due the nature of electronic devices there is no refunds allowed"

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.

Got my first really terrible feedback on Amazon the other day. Amazon now allows buyers to block seller's emails. So, customer wanted a refund. and over the course of a weekend I sent her promptly 3 emails in response to her emails although it was obvious that she wasn't getting mine. Then she gave me one star, said I wasn't interested in customer service and to avoid me as a seller! After 16 years selling there! I don't know why she didn't seem to make any effort to find email from me. She claimed that the pattern I sent her wasn't as described in the listing page. I couldn't find any error after fine tooth combing the page multiple times. Very frustrating. I got one other 1 star there, but the written feedback was glowing, and I figured she hit the wrong star by mistake, so I don't count it. I have sold on multiple sites for 15-16 years and always with 100% feedback, or occasionally a neutral thrown in.

I try to give good feedback when warranted, but if someone gives lousy service, I will say so. Maybe I’m getting old and crotchety!
