Why are you paying for a damaged product? Seller is responsible for that.Originally posted by myrdale View PostI have a case today where other peoples carelessness is expensive for me!
I ordered several pieces of computer network equipment from Ubiquiti. One of these items is a 24 port POE network switch (a fancy router), roughly $380. UPS decided to ventilate the box during delivery. The hole through the shipping box, carried through the product box, and left a gouge in the case.
Ubiquiti issued an RMA, but it's costing me $50 to ship it back to them (via UPS). I'm looking into getting reimbursed by UPS for shipping, but I don't know if that will happen or not.Steve

* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

Then I’d be emailing or calling to get that from them. No way you should have to pay to return a damaged item.Originally posted by myrdale View Post

I am. I've also been told that I should have refused to accept the package. I am currently waiting to hear back from the local UPS rep.Originally posted by disneysteve View Post
