Thanks! I was trying to remember when they do this and had guessed it would be next weekend since I didn’t see it in the target circle offers.

Thanks for posting. I hadn't even thought of it. We always buy the max. Sometimes we get DD or my mom to buy also. 10% off is always nice.

Excellent. Thanks for passing on this info. My DH & I should probably get the limit. Has been great for gift cards for tweens & teens we know.

We don't have a target nearby (closest is an hour away in Boise), but we do like to get games & stocking stuffers from there. I showed this to DW, we'll likely get something from this, but probably won't max it, since we only shop from Target (even online/on app) a few times a year.

Am I missing something, I don't see the appeal here for 10%? Buy $500 in gift cards and get $50, I mean it's better than nothing but if it were 20% I might get more in tune here. But to make me really jump 25% would do it for me.

I live so close to a Target that I could walk to it. Yup, I would buy max at 25% but 10% meh, lol.

We shop at Target regularly, pretty much weekly. I'm perfectly happy to save 10% on the first $500 of stuff we buy with these cards. It's simple to do, doesn't cost us anything, and is essentially a risk-free 10% return on that money.

DG ran a 3 day special on gift cards. I believe Lowe's was 15% off and restaurants we're 20% off. Target wasn't part of it. I know people were scooping up Starbucks cards and chipotle.

Good deal on target gift cards though. I saw this posted on slickdeals.

Unless they are doing this differently this year, Target takes 10% off the price of the gift card. So, you would spend $450.00 to get your $500.00 in cards.

Then, you can use the cards for other sale items and stack your discount.

I don’t shop at target that often, but sometimes Target is the only place I can find something or they have a good sale going on. it’s nice to have the cards to use.

Exactly - it's an extra10% off after you've locked in your other savings.

Also beneficial for anyone working towards a credit card bonus.

Thank you for highlighting this deal! I wanted to get some gift cards for the family we “adopted” for Christmas so this is perfect.

I’m expecting to see a target circle offer in the Target app

I’ll add that to my target wallet. Scan my personal barcode via the app and get the discount at checkout.
