QMM, how are you going to utilize the giftcards? Are you planning on getting gifts for someone? And, do you have a plan to be sure using them won't stimulate more unnecessary spending?james.c.hendrickson@gmail.com

I used it for myself at Amazon buying liquid Lacase drops for $9.99 where I bought 2 or 3 bottles. I used to buy ready made Lactaid milk $3.75 for 1/2 a gallon. Now I buy a gallon of $3.50 fat free milk and add the drops. Good point about unnecessary spending but the egift cards can be left in your Amazon account until you are ready to use them.

I mistyped in my last post about going for a 10% discount card. It was actually a $10 card (Wally's / Amazon). I just don't seem to be making much progress now, though. The regular news reading is producing less points and I'm definitely Bing searching less recently. I don't really have time/interest to do some of the other activities (quizzes, polls, games), but maybe I'd do a few just to push me over the top. Although I did just find a freebie 100 points today just by logging into my account and looking through some of the items there. Anyone remember the ad banners in the 90's where you could make pennies a day for having the banner up while you surf?
This is really the same thing in a slightly different package.

Yeah, if I can't accumulate enough points for a $10 gift card soon I'll probably just blow my points on more of these. Ha.Originally posted by QuarterMillionMan View Post
I see what you're referring to when redeeming some points for a few drawings. Microsoft offers redemptions for sweepstakes to win Surface Pros, Xbox, $1000 Microsoft gift cards, etc. Redemptions start as low as 200 points. Currently I have 825 points and I'm debating if I should enter some sweepstakes for maybe a Surface Pro or the $1000 Microsoft gift card, hum.

$40 in Amazon gift cards just for using Bing searches. Also, got a $10 rebate on a Crickett wireless activation, $10 Dell rebate, and smaller 3% rebate on Walmart purchases, etc. Microsoft is starting to pay off, sorry to those who despise Microsoft but how is Chrome or Safari or DuckDuckGo working out for you?

There's also search rewards where each search is 5 points. At 6000 points can be redeemed for a $5 Amazon gift card, 12,000 points for a $10 Amazon gift card, etc.
Correction 6500 points = $5 Amazon gift card, or 13,000 points = $10 Amazon gift card, etc.Last edited by QuarterMillionMan; 07-31-2024, 06:22 AM.
