How much do you pay in tolls?

$0 now, but when we lived in Texas we had a TX Tag and average was around $5 per month.

I opt to take a toll road to get to my cabin as opposed to using the Interstate.
Much more relaxing of a drive, as there is no traffic, and you have a wide open road at 70mph

It costs around $4 each way, so $8 for the weekend

Yesterday I drove $360 miles and paid $10 in tolls but worth it. In California, tolls are optional. You can avoid toll roads in California but you'll be stuck in traffic. Unless using HOV lanes (free) but requires an EV or 2 or 3 people in some places.

Where I live I never encounter toll roads. I would have to drive about 3 hours north to get to a toll road, but I don't go there.
