So we have a very old plan from t - mobile. $120 for 4 lines well we've only used 3 lines and then last month I went to add back the 4th line and they charged me $30/month for the new line because they don't have the offical old data of 10 GB month. We actually have unlimited but they won't give us the 4th line. So I'm not paying $30/month for a kids phone.

I'm going to try tello. Anyone try them? Or should I just stick with ting? How is ting? How is Mint mobile? What is the cheapest prepaid cell phone. Prepaid T mobile for $15?

T-mo appears to offer a 4-line plan for $105/month. Can you just sign up for that?
    History will judge the complicit.

In either Oct/Nov, I might be signing up for T-mobile. Anyone want to post your friend referral code here (first come, first served). They'll give you a $50 prepaid Master Card. It looks like only you'll be getting it and I won't be getting anything but I'm good with that. Better than nothing as they say. At least someone benefits.

I've got a T mobile plan if you can't find another referral partner.

You will be next up James with your friend referral code w/T Mobile. Next week I will be ordering a new iPhone 14 plus with a 6.7" screen for $899. I'm with Crickett wireless currently and my billing cycle ends at the end of October so I'll be cancelling and getting T Mobile where you'll get a $50 prepaid Master Card. For T Mobile, I will be getting the Magenta 55+ plan I'm 56) for $50 a month. With Crickett I'm paying $60. It's AT & T and roaming in Mexico they reduce data speeds to 3G and often 2G which is so slow. With T Mobile, in Mexico they keep data speed to 4G LTE.

I stand corrected 4G, not 4G LTE, but still better than 3G.

Well, I'm down to trade referrals. That's a solid way to get some extra $$. Webull has a $75 referral now if you're interested.

I'm a big Clark Howard fan, maybe this will be helpful https://clark.com/cell-phones/best-c...e-plans-deals/

It's really confusing when you try to pick a cell phone plan because unlimited doesn't mean unlimited! Here are the best unlimited plans.

Just chiming in to say my service and coverage has been AWFUL since T-mobile bought Sprint. I know sprint didn't have a great rep, and I was excited about the acquisition thinking my service would improve but its actually gotten worse. Can't even take phone calls in my house in the middle of the largest metro area in my state. Not to mention they sold me a new phone and then tried to scam me out of the bill credit they promised. After 6 months of spending an hour+ on the phone every month, I filed a complaint with the FCC and they finally got it resolved but it was a pain.

James I've been jumping through hoops today trying to get you closer to getting you that $50 prepaid Master card. First, I used your friend referral link and could only get this far with the webpage below in which I had to either go in person into a store or to call them by phone (no webpage to sign up online). All the reseller cell services such as Mint mobile, Cricket, Boost can sign up online. I think the main reason T-Mobile requires either in-person or by phone is that they have to do a credit check. Mint mobile, Cricket, Boost all don't require credit checks. Well this credit check is when I ran into problems. You see I froze all 3 credit agencies so T-Mobile was not to obtain my credit. The T-Mobile agent was patient while I went online to try to unfreeze it but another set of problems ensued. It's been so long that I haven't accessed the 3 credit bureaus that when I tried logging into my accounts the two-factor authentications were sending the codes to emails that I no longer used. So I had to call the credit bureaus to change emails in order to log in. I've been spending half a day today on the phone with the credit bureaus trying to gain access to my accounts but I was successful and unfroze my credit freezes. The T-Mobile agent said he would call me back later today to finish the sign up. Also, this Samsung galaxy S22 plus phone uses a physical SIM which T-Mobile will have to send to me so if everything goes okay sometime this week I'll be good to go with T-Mobile. I'll keep everyone posted here as to the progress. As the saying goes it's not over until it's over.

I've had Verizon for 20 years, but since the 5G switch, I'm having trouble getting service at my cabin. I might have to switch providers

It may not be a direct factor of the 5G rollout, but rather the elimination of 2G/3G service, which has also happened over the last year. Many of the more remote areas relied upon those lower frequencies, but most cell providers have gotten rid of it.
