    Goodsteward hit it on the head. Age doesn't equal = wisdom. But most people do make more and expenses get lower as they age. Does that mean they are more secure? In the US no.

    I still stand by that we haven't seen the generation of retirees without pensions really come out. I'd argue most boomers had pensions both public and private companies. But I'd say generation X (i'm tail end) does not I believe less than 10% private and less than 50% public have pensions. That being said when the majority of people start to retire without pensions it'll be more interesting to see what happens. It's not going to be pretty.

    Honestly I sit here wondering how will I retire and I'm nervous and I know we'll have more than enough but it's still very nerve wracking because I know what a pension is worth.

      Again, that is not realistic for most people.
      In this case, the meaning is a lot deeper than just the words on the surface.
      Must have an open mind in order to fully understand; just memorize it for now and one day you may understand too.

        True, since there are people who forget everything.
        But
        most people learn as they grow, and wisdom is generally regarded as learned from experience. Experience; success in life comes more certain with age.
