Student loan forgiveness

    Students are not funding their college with Federal Stafford loans ( not co-signed, these are in their name only). The Max that can be borrowed is $23 K over 4 yrs. Well, here in PA, that doesnt' even cover one year at Penn State with tuition and room and board. So, most of the schooling is mostly likely funded now with Parent PLus loans which has the parents as a cosigner. If the govt is out, then that would be an additional $23k put on to a cosigner. I think the students need to OWN their own loans, not mom and dad.

      A lot is funded with private loans. That's where the real trouble arises because those don't have the limits that the Fed loans have. They'll give you as much as you need. That's where students get buried.
