Crappie are one of my favorite fish. Trout season just started here, not the best fish to eat, but fun to catch. I'll be out this weekend to try and catch some

    • My wins are my properties. First property is already more than 10x multiple excluding many years of rent income, second property is getting steady offers 2x multiple but I will give this to my estate, 3rd property just hit 2x multiple, again excluding the rent income it's generating, and the newest 4th property is going to be no different as I got the best acquisition deal ever on it.

      • My win was our local Kroger had some amazing digital coupons. I still spent over $50, but with one free item and so many things on sale and/or with a digital coupon, I saved a lot. Most of it was fresh stuff other than a couple frozen items. With the price of groceries, I will take a win where I can.

          • My win was unlocking my Robinhood crypto account w/a $13,000 balance. The 2 factor authentication uses either a code sent by text or Google authenticator app. I was unable to get the code sent by text so I had to use a different cell number. But getting ahold of a representative is a challenge. Robinhood recommends using the chat feature but I was unable to log in without the code sent by text. Eventually, after extensive navigating Robinhood's website I was able to get a representative to call me back to change my cell number. Robinhood doesn't have a phone number to call. Well there was one but it too said to use the chat feature. The lesson that I learned is to transfer most of my cryptos out of Robinhood because it is so hard to obtain assistance if locked out of an account with them. I should have known this about Robinhood when a few years ago they came on the news for some shenanigans. And often the CEO Vlad Tenev comes on CNBC or Fox Business news and he seems sort of sleezy to me.

            • A win, however, I still spent money: It's time for our annual oil change for the motorhome. Keep in mind, this is an $800 service at a truck dealership so anything I do myself is saving actual truckloads of cash. I purchased the oil for a DIY change yesterday, 7.5 gallons of Mobil Delvac brand 15w40. Normally $49.99 per 2.5 gallon jug, Autozone had a Spring sale for 20% off plus free shipping, saving me a trip to the store. $135.97 total including tax. I already had the filter and paid for it, but applying that cost to this oil change...I can't remember the exact cost, but I'll say $50 for a round number...brings my total cost to complete the oil change to $180.97. That leaves over $600 leftover for a nice dinner...or, you know, we just won't spend the extra money, period!

What I didn't know was the oil was shipped Next Day from Tennessee out here to the West Coast. I can only imagine Autozone ate a huge cost on that one, which was free for me. The win there is now I have the oil (it just landed on my doorstep!) in time for the weekend where I can complete the service in prep for an upcoming camping trip. Pretty happy with the outcome.

              • Would have been about $150 where my blood sample on my biometric test was not sufficient, oh well $112 is still good. And I still could earn more such as $10 for a flu shot or $20 for a virtual doctor's visit but we'll see.

                • 2 free nights in Las Vegas for today to check out Wednesday. Last night in TJ it was a Disneyland for men playground. Las Vegas today will be basically an adults only playground but not in a true sense since kids are still allowed but to an extent.

                          • I have two fun wins:

We are expecting a baby girl in May- she alone is a win but there’s a financial win as well! With babies come completion registry discounts. This was automatically applied in my online cart to eligible items. I figured this would apply to baby related items but imagine my surprise when I got an extra 15% an already on sale Samsung Frame TV. Was an extra $200 in savings we weren’t expecting!

We’re flying my dad out for a visit in a couple weeks - redeemed $500 worth of flight credits through Chase Travel that completely paid for his flight!
