My son asked me this today, and actually I've never thought about it. I don't think there will ever be an actual zombie apocalypse, but what is the best investment to hold if there is one?

I'm not up on my zombie lore so it's hard to say.
How does one "kill" a zombie? I guess whoever makes and sells those supplies would do well during the apocalypse.Steve

Gold is worthless. It has no inherent value and no practical use. It's just a shiny rock.
In an actual emergency, people are going to want survival items: food, water, clothing, batteries, and protection.Steve

These aren't too terrible "investments" even today. Of all of my hobbies, I think my gun hobby turned out to be the cheapest; I'm able to sell all my guns at their new prices after using them for years. Well, except my expensive shotguns, people keep saying they hold their value, but they don't.
