The atlas under my truck seat works just fine. My Nikon takes great photos. For me the weather is a irrelevance. And if I want a pizza, I drive down town and pick it up. News, sports, none of these are so late breaking that I must know every update at every point.

And this isn't to say that I never use it for the GPS, or snap a photo, but for the most part it is, for me, just a phone.

My complaint isn't the utility of the device. My complaint is the usage of it. At any point in your day, stop and look. Four out of five people will be enthralled in the use of their "mobile computer".

oh yeah they do private school for kids. And we don't do hand me downs either. My phones are toast when I replace them.

For me my phone battery usually goes first, but the phone itself is fine. It is a pain to be at work all day and need to constantly charge the phone and replacing the battery on a 3 year old phone is not much cheaper than getting a new one where I live. So my kids who dont have the phone with them all day get those. They still use the Iphone4 even if it is outdated as a camera and to listen to music. But it can’t do much else.
