  • You're bankrupt, but did you get in on all the good, indulgent buys?

From the early December Facebook page of a neighborhood bankruptcy lawyer:

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving; survived Black Friday; bought something local on Small Business Saturday; and indulged on this Cyber Monday.

Hmm, I wonder if he is in the habit of encouraging bankrupt people to spend.

It would appear they know their audience very well.

Personal bankruptcy "lawyers" are kind of like "doctors" who sell copper bracelets on TV. They might hold a credential, but what does it really mean?
      History will judge the complicit.

I hate when I see doctors endorsing crackpot treatments and cures. I'm sure they're being paid very well but why go to all of the trouble to get through med school just to sell your soul and promote garbage products? There must be an easier way to make a buck.

        * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
