  • can you get plenti points from paying at&t bill?

I'm having a hard time figuring this out from their website so wanted to see if anyone here has had any luck doing this.

I linked our plenti account to our At&t account and figured I might as well get all the free plenti points from paying my bill as normal, but so far it doesnt look like its working.

has anyone been able to do this?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am curious about the Plenti program. (I see ads for it every time I fill up my gas tank.). How well does the Plenti program work for you?

The Plenti points are for AT&T cell phones only--my friend gets them for her cells. I have AT&T for landline, computer and tv and get nothing.

so far, havent done much with it. just signed up when buying some stuff at macys so we only have a few points.

I saw they partnered with At&t so I got excited at the idea of getting all those points when I pay my bill but I guess not.

so far I would rate plenti with a "glad its free" because it looks like the benefits suck.

I had a feeling this would be the case.

          thanks.

I belong to the program because I shop at Rite Aid, and you have to belong in order to get some of the deals. Aside from scanning my card at the register, I no longer pay any attention to the program.

The main reason is the constant e-mails I get telling me I can earn points for signing up for Hulu. It just so happens that I signed up for Hulu about a week prior to getting the Plenti card. The deal to get Plenti points is for NEW Hulu customers only so I can't get them.

The annoyance of the above has led me to shop at Walgreens more often. If Rite Aid wasn't the closest drugstore to my house, I would cut up the Plenti card and tell them to remove me from their distribution list.

well this is interesting timing. just a week after I started this thread I get this email:

Thank you for being a Plenti® member. This is a notification of an upcoming change to Plenti points from AT&T.

Currently, as a member of Plenti with an account linked to your AT&T wireless service, you are eligible to receive Plenti points for eligible charges on your AT&T wireless service bill enrolled in paperless billing. You are also currently eligible to receive 1 Plenti point for every $1 spent on eligible merchandise purchased at att.com and at AT&T-owned locations.

Effective September 1, 2016, AT&T is changing the way Plenti points are awarded under the current terms of the program. These new changes mean that you may no longer receive Plenti points, or may receive fewer Plenti points, for your monthly wireless service charges. These changes will also alter the way points are awarded for purchases of eligible merchandise, such that you will be eligible to receive 1 Plenti point for every $2 spent on eligible merchandise.

You will see these changes reflected in the monthly Plenti points awarded starting with your bill cycle that ends on or after September 1.* An announcement later this year will include more details about these upcoming changes to how you can earn Plenti points monthly. In the meantime, you can continue to earn Plenti points from AT&T on Plenti offers found on plenti.com.

Your Available Points balance will not be affected. Plenti points can be used for savings on select in-stock purchases and on your wireless bill at AT&T Company stores. You may view your account, including your Plenti points activity, at plenti.com or on the Plenti mobile app.

Thank you for choosing AT&T and Plenti.

              Sincerely, AT&T
so let me get this straight...

              1) a program I was basically getting nothing from, despite sending At&t a ton of money every month for years (what is "elligible purchases"? so far, ive gotten zero points)

              2) despite this they decide they were giving away too many points and change the plan so I will either "no longer receive Plenti points or may receive fewer Plenti points" (from 1 point per $1, to 1 point per $2 or even 0 points overall)

              um, yeah.

worst rewards program ive been apart of.

its free and not even worth the 1 minute to sign up.
