the Cavalier King Charles spaniel has long flowing hair that gets caught in pricker bushes we cannot kill so he gets shaved down 3x yr

Bernice bites if you try to do her nails so she goes 3xs a yr to the groomer to get them cut. These two things cost about $58 a pop. Way, way more than I pay on my own hair!

plan for some sort of problem every few years resulting in a high vet bill

when one passes, I think financially I have to cut down to one dog now that I am disabled

Yes, I do have a 2 yrs old Male Shih Tzu. The costs for food and other things will depend on the type of a dog or pet that you would want to adopt. Actually , I usually spend for food, grooming and vitamins for my dog.
