If your state is reopened, or reopening soon will you go back to your of life? If you state isn't reopening soon will you go back to the way of life? Will you go out to eat? Will you stay at home more? Do you think you'll wear a mask out? Will you grocery shop less? Still use delivery services? What changes if any are you planning on keeping?

I know we won't be out to eat. We do want to have friends over but we'll cook and do takeout. I don't see us going to a restaurant for awhile. I'm not a instacart or delivery person for groceries. I haven't been to trader joe's in months and tomorrow might be the day. I also want to feel a little more free to go to the store once a week. Right now it's more like 1x a month. I do see us decreasing grocery shopping in general and I probably won't browse and shop every couple days for what I want to make. I think we're going to be more list based at home now. More rigid cooking. I will also be wearing a mask out to shop.

I think at least initially, we'll be pretty cautious and not do a bunch of unnecessary stuff, but I also do miss being able to go out and do things like eat in a restaurant. That's really the one I miss the most.

I think we'll wear masks as long as that remains the recommended thing to do.

Our grocery shopping really hasn't been impacted by COVID. I shop once a week at Wegmans. The only difference is now I have to wait in line for 20-30 minutes to get in and wear a mask while I'm there. Hopefully the standing in line part will get better. Oh, we haven't gone to BJ's so that is a difference. We looked into doing an online order but they were out of most of the stuff we wanted so we didn't bother.

But, that's just me.

I guess I'm fully willing to take on the risk if the government tells me that I'm free to do so.

I'm sure everyone's answer depends in part on where you live. We are in the 2nd highest COVID area in the country so I think folks around here will be much more cautious than those in areas where cases were few and far between.

My state has not officially reopened but many places just reopened as law enforcement is NOT enforcing this governors rules.

I live in an area that is not as crowded as some states/ cities so If i eat out I would be far more concerned about the Staff or food chain then a person sitting a table or two away from me.
I am pretty sure i had virus in early March and recovered and I am not that worried.
I have not worn a mask as I have seen how they are being used and it is no more then window dressing IMO. i coordinate the medical clearance and upkeep on training for respiratory program for a medical lab corporation so i AM knowledgeable about the correct use and limitation of masks.

I never changed any of my shopping trips this whole time and do not see a reason to.
i took a trip across our state a week ago and most of the state that had little or no infection have largely ignored the stay at home stuff.

PA hasnt reopened yet...but all the stores I go to never closed. I told my wife...If I never went back to work, it wouldnt bother me one bit. Ive been busy during the 6 weeks ive been working from home. Completed a lot of projects that were going to be done later in the summer. Already freed up a bunch of weekends. Wife's work said they're not going back until at least June 1...so she's going to save around $4k in hotels that she would have otherwise had to spend. I just wish the weather would warm up so we could sit outside on our deck.

Just outside of Minneapolis here, and can attest to the fact that people are pretty much done with the quarantine at least out here in the suburbs. People might still be working from home, with the kids home from school, but take-out places are jam-packed during the day, the roads are much, much busier, I see groups of teenagers out riding and walking together.

I didn't have a highly social life prior to the pandemic, but I've been kind of wondering how I'll re-integrate into what was once a high-touch society.

For example, do I have to wear a mask everywhere I go in public. Should I?
Do I need to disinfect my hands immediately after touching a fuel pump, or keypad, or do I just try not to touch my face all day long, with frequent hand washings?
Should I ask to be reseated in a restaurant if I feel like the next table is, in fact, too close? I don't plan to go out to eat right away, but the question is, FOR HOW LONG do I need to be highly cautious. Forever?

When can I actually go visit my extended family, and embrace my parents, nieces with big hugs?

I feel like the experts and governors are signing off before the job is really finished, because of cost concerns. Good luck! Hope ya don't get sick!

There's some things I obvioulsy can't do now, but as far as daily routinewise, not much will change for me to be honest. I still go into work daily, still have daily chores, cooking etc. The biggest daily thing that would change is probably being able to go to the gym again versus doing exercises in my place and going running.

I was pretty much isolated even before the lockdown so this is not a lot of change. I am not close to anyone in particular but was part of WhatsApp groups that would share family news or autism stuff. I think COVID 19 is here to stay and we're going to be on alert for at least 2 years. I think states are reopening simply because they cannot "afford" the lockdown anymore.

My mate and I will be very conservative about getting out among people again. We are not doing our own grocery shopping and will not do so until coronavirus cases are close to zero in our area. We won't be going out to eat; we won't go do general shopping. No crowds, no social gatherings of any kind. Our mayor instituted SAH long before our governor, and will lift it long after our governor. Certainly we do not want to go out now as cases appear to be at a peak. Peak doesn't mean it's over. Peak means diagnoses are at a high point. There will still be transmissions as the graph comes down, and I don't intend to be one of them.

I foresee keeping to ourselves through the summer. For us, I don't see this as a hardship, but that is due to our personalities and the fact that only part-time non-necessary work is affected. If we were more gregarious, more socially active, it would be a much bigger adjustment.

Do you think you'll wear a mask out?

Words I never thought I'd hear: "Honey, go get your mask-we're going shopping!" LOL. Yes, we will be wearing masks for the foreseeable future. Masks are required if we want to go into the commissary (they also take your temp and ask you a few questions). I don't know if they do any good, but it's not that much of a hardship. I always wear one when we go on walks, too. Folks give us a wide berth for some reason.

I was thinking about the possibility of Disney opening up and requiring a mask. I don't know if we would go under those circumstances--as in maybe we shouldn't be there if is still a high risk of contracting the disease. But, I was thinking about the weird tan lines people might get as a result.

Some of this will be determined for you. Wearing a mask is currently the law in New Jersey. Until such time as the law is changed, we'll continue to need one to enter any type of business establishment. Obviously restaurants won't count since you can't eat with a mask on, though I'd still wear it until my food comes. Airlines may require passengers to wear masks unless eating. I'm sure a lot of other places will require a mask, even if it isn't the law in that location. Everyone just needs to accept that for a while.

Same here. The only store I go to regularly is the grocery store and that's still open. Other than that, I rarely go to a store. When I do, it's Walmart or Target or occasionally Home Depot. All of those have remained open. I have been in Wawa more in the past 2 months than in probably the past year before that.

Seriously, the only significant change for me has been not being inside of a restaurant for almost 2 months now.

My wife made a bunch. And I use them at work. There are tons of people selling them online. Check your local FB group or Etsy or Craigslist or any of those sorts of things.
