my first son is a cop and he wanted me to mention that everyone should have ICE on their cell phones... IN CASE of an EMERGENCY... on your cell phone enter the name of a contact person....... and enter the name ICE..
even though it has been publized.... alot of ppl. have not done this... please do this today, it can save lives...... thanks in advance.

Yes, I set this up as soon as I heard about it a long time ago. It's certainly not foolproof, but any little thing could help. One thing to add: make sure your ICE contact knows they are the contact. Just to avoid any questions should the need arise.

Well, I can't believe this, I figured out what this meant without asking. In Case of Emergency!! But, I don't have a cell phone anyway. I first thought it was something fancy you could add to your phone. I know phones can now take pictures, play games and gets you on the internet. I figure it could now make ice for your drinks, and maybe cook you dinner! When they make a phone like that, I will get one.

update:
i received my new vz cell phone... son advised me, to enter ICE #1 spouse,
ICE#2 my younger son
ICE#3 himself ( my oldest son)
also, enter in the persons contact name.. for example:
ICE#1 jeffrey
ICE#2 billy
ICE#3 kevin
sometimes the first, second or even the 3rd person is unavailable... i am entering my primary physician and his name... and emergency numbers for other categories... so, far it is easy... i had too many numbers on my old motorola phone.. can you imagine??? so, far i have 12 on my new razor.

i think most law enforcement agencies would recognize this.. my son is a 3rd year criminal justice college student, cop, and accident patrol officer... so, this is the current info.. i am sure. he lives in nc and we are in oh, so, i am assuming this could be a national thing now.. anyway, good info... all of my family and friends, i emailed, did this.
