  • Everyone gets 1 free night at South Point Las Vegas

I have been doing this every year for the past 7 years. This is real and South Point will email everyone 1 free night. The resort fee is waived with the 1 free night so it is truly free. I know of no other hotel that gives 1 free night for basically nothing.

That sounds like a sweet deal for anyone who lives nearby and likes visiting casinos. Nice of you to share.

Not a bad deal I guess if you want to do your first or last night there as part of your trip. They aren't on the main drag, of course, but it's a way to draw in people to that area. And you can always just stay there and hop an Uber down the road if you want to visit the more popular resorts.

      * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
      * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
      * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but the problem is simply the hotel's location. If your dates are flexible you can easily get a room at Harrah's or a few Caesar's brand hotels on the strip for $39. a night. The cost of taking an Uber back and forth to the strip sort of defeats the free deal.

Also at CET if the room is $39 a night don't forget to add $40 per night for the resort free.

Hmm... My sisters and sister in laws do a trip every other year. Vegas is a pretty central point for us and money is definitely a limiting factor to most of us. We could possibly book several nights in a couple rooms with each of us surrendering our email to unsubscribable spam. I'll kick the idea out there to them and see what they think.

Neat idea. If 4 people would be sharing a room, you could each book one free night and just switch rooms every day and get a 4-night stay for free.

Exactly. I think 6 will attend this year so we'd have 2 rooms of 3 each. Of course, it doesn't really matter to me since I'm having a baby in May. I won't make it out to Vegas for a while.

Knowing my sisters though, they won't come to a consensus fast enough to act on it. You have to submit your email address by March 11, book by June 1, and the offer is only valid Sunday-Thursday nights June 5-September 10.

Good ideas. I live in Los Angeles and only stay 2 nights (Sunday & Monday) so I'd pay for an extra night or if I have comp rooms at another place I would hotel hop. I'm Sapphire at Boyd's and usually get 2 free nights every month (slow periods and not peak times). It's nice to have alternatives to choose from. And having my own car makes things easy to hop around.

I got my email today from SP for the free night. Anyone else get it? Maybe check your spam.

if you didn’t get a confirmation saying you submit it, it might not have gone thru.
