  • Why Can't Someone Donate To Me?

At work yesterday, i did my normal routine by asking people if they want to donate to help sick children, and she responded this way: "I am not donating nothing, let them donate to me! I work 2 fulltime jobs, and no one wants to help me!" I responded this way: "You're right, no one cares about us."

I can understand why she was mad. i say this because we work hard each day, and no one pats us on the back for doing what we have to do.

LoL...all I can say to that is...go cry me a river?

I hope this particular person is in Africa working two jobs trying to provide clean water for her child and picking the field all day. This is the U.S..you suck at life because you choose to suck at life. Sure you can say you were at a disadvantage vs a child of a politician..but I see many people making something out of themselves despite being at a disadvantage (like every immigrant ever).

It blows my mind that someone from the U.S without any mental or physical disability wants a donation...lol. Even if you are living in poverty, you are a rich person compared the vast majority of people in the world!.

If no one is donating to you then you don't need it! You are working for yourself to provide your needs. One should feel very proud of that.

I probably wouldn't take the comment seriously. It's meant to be mildly humorous, isn't it?
