  • Experian data breach litigation

The experian data breach was mentioned in previous threads relating to using online apps and stuff. If your information was compromised, they will pay you $40 plus free data monitoring. You need to either mail in the post card or go to www.expdatabreachsettlement.com

Over 150 million americans info was compromised, so im guessing that all adults on this board should qualify. Might as well get a couple bucks out of it.

I wonder if we're going to be getting postcards with a claim number to file? I'd think it'd be better to wait for that to come and then file. But thanks for the heads up!

This Experian Data Breach wasn't what I was thinking it was:

          I. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
If you are one of the 15,992,099 T-Mobile customers or applicants who were notified on or around October 1, 2015, that their Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) was stored on the Experian server that was potentially accessed by an unauthorized user in the Data Breach, you are a “Class Member.” If you received a notice about this class action Settlement addressed to you, then the Settlement Administrator has already determined that you are a Class Member.

Duh, it's the Equifax Data Breach I was thinking this pertained to, no wonder I never got a postcard. I don't qualify for this.
