Would you quit your job if you won the lottery?

Why would you keep your job. You can own your own business or do anything. If I won, I would work with my boss to quit as that would allow someone who needs a job to have my old job. I would then start some kind of business and let someone run it. This will create jobs and I will have something to do.

I wouldn't even give 2 weeks notice. I can keep myself occupied with random stuff. There are so many things I would love to learn.

And one of my to-do items would be to beat DisneySteve's post count.

LOL. Well I do have a 7-year head start so you've got some catching up to do.

I would quit my current job, but I would do something else to occupy my time. Not having to worry about how much I earn doing it would be a great relief, and would allow me to do exactly what I wanted. It would be nice to have that type of freedom.

Honestly, if I had a huge amount of money, I would go back to work! I would love to start a Charter or private school specifically for Asperger kids, particularly in high school, who are struggling in their current environment.

If it was enough to live on then yes. But I would do it this way:

Don't tell my employer anything. On a nice Friday I would have lunch at the corporate cafe where all the executives and employees eat. The cafe has lots of windows looking out at the front parking lot again where all of upper management parks their Porches, MB, Audi, etc.

At about 1245 (lunch ends at 1) a stretched limo would pull up, the driver would get out and hold up a sign with my last name. I'd say "that's my ride, I gotta go. See ya later it was nice working with you"

And ride off into the afternoon like this

                Gunga galunga...gunga -- gunga galunga.
