  • Gift cards to stores I don't shop

Every Christmas, I inevitably get at least one gift card to a store where I don't usually shop. When this happens, the card usually gets thrown into a desk drawer never to be used. It's such a waste. I was thinking of giving the cards to someone who might use them. What do you do with those gift cards for stores where you don't shop?

Cardpool.com, you can either mail in the card (higher payout) or enter online (lower payout) averages 75-85% of face value (card must be over $25. You can get cash or Amazon cards as replacement.

I sell them on ebay. I usually get about 98% of face value.

You can sell to sites like cardpool.com but you'll get a lot less.

I usually just re-gift. If it's something no one I know would want, I'd sell it.
