That would be ideal, but it may not be an option. Rents are extremely high here.

Well, so much for his promise for him to respect her decision. He has talked her out of it.

Yes, it does, but I don't have the money to start a custody battle, and he has convinced her it would be better to stay there at this point anyway.

Well, this may be happening after all. After I expressed my extreme displeasure with him for going back on our agreement, he said he would talk to her about it more. She called yesterday and and asked if were going to be moving any time soon, because she was leaning toward coming here again, but wanted to be in the specific school we are zoned for. It is a very high ranking school. I told her we would stay in the neighborhood as long as she continued to live with us during the school year. I asked her if her dad was ok with her changing her mind and she said yes. She has till the end of Feb to decide so I can get her enrolled

Wow, giant change. Since February is nearly upon us, I suggest you start the enrolment process immediately. It can always be withdrawn if she changes her mind or the legal process cannot be completed in the required time frame. Is she coming from another state or another country? Will it be difficult to get her completion documents, birth certificates, medical requirements etc. that are part of the school's requirements?

Enrollment doesn't start until March, but I am looking into what kind of paperwork she'd need so we can be ready. She would be coming from Alaska to Seattle. She lives in Fox right now.

Just call the school or district office. I'm sure someone would be happy to help with the enrollment process and required paperwork.

In terms of your fears that you laid out in your original post, you've got this! You were your daughter's age once and presumably attended high school too. This sounds like maybe a good change for you and your daughter?
