Just wanted to share as many of you have followed along the process. DD got her first college acceptance today. It is not her #1 school but is probably her #2. She has an interview with her #1 school next week and will likely get accepted at that time as they do instant decision.

DW and I were lying in bed talking about it last night. She is looking forward to being able to cook different meals. I'm looking forward to being able to do more spur of the moment types of things. I love my daughter dearly but she is not good with change or last minute decisions.Steve

* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?

Will she be at a school somewhat close to home? That way you can look forward to lots of visits.
She definitely needs to live away though to spread her wings and become more independent so we will certainly visit but will try to keep it to a minimum to give her space to mature.Steve

She has an interview with her first choice school on Wednesday. Assuming they accept her, she'll be done and can relax (about that at least). Applying the regular way, she probably wouldn't hear for another month or two.
I will be relieved when this is done. I can't believe all the mail and calls. DS has his heart set one one certain school.
