    Anyone eles get a discount with there insurance for having low milegae?

    Nope. I drive too much. I average 1000 a month. I think my insurer cuts off the low mileage discount above 5000 miles driven per year.

      Yes. We drive our cars 10k-ish miles per year, each. This does not give us the traditional "low miles" discount. But, we report our mileage every 6 months and get a break. About a 10% discount from what we were paying before, at this mileage level.

      22,000+ miles per year = no discount. State Farm. It's not a highly publicized program - I just happened to read about it in the paper a couple of years back - my agent never mentioned it and hadn't seen it advertised otherwise. Just to say, these are good things to look into, because you might be surprised.

        Our insurer offers a 10% discount if you drive less than 7500 miles/year. One of our cars might qualify for that this year. The other gets driven over 20k annually.
        History will judge the complicit.
