Re: Do you ever plan on retiring?

Yes, God willing, hubby and I are planning to retire. I still have about 30 years to go since I've been contributing to a 401K for only a year (I'm 33, about to turn 34) and my current company doesn't provide a pension (my last company did provide a pension in which I'm fully vested, and they also provided a 401k plan in which I did not particpate--8 years of free money down the drain, very big mistake, but that's for another thread). My husband is eligible for retirement in 15 years (he's a state worker), and he swears that he's not going to work anymore. But, he'll only be 48 at the time of his retirement, and I have a suspicion that he'll find another job after he retires from his first one. I, on the other hand, plan to sit these tired bones down once my retirement rolls around, especially since I'll be working until my mid to late 60s, barring serious illness or death of course.
