I'm not sure what you're asking here. But you contact a charity, such as Goodwill. They come over, give you paperwork, take your paperwork and tow your car away as a donation.

Goodwill and the Salvation Army will take your car and give you all the necessary paperwork to file for the tax write-off.

You can donate your car by several organizations. They can directly use the car for the children or they can make some money for the kids by selling it. It's up to your decision.

The poor children don't need car. They only need good food,shelter and good clothes to wear. In my point of view, i have donate food and clothes to them. And also i can spend money for their studies if have lot of money with me. Its my opinion harry.

If to have a specific charity in mind, call them and ask the process and which company they use. Not all of those "donate your car" companies are legit.

We donated a car to Make A Wish last year. We emailed to find out which of the agencies they used and then called and made an appointment. They picked the car up 2 days later. Make sure you have the title with you. It took about 4 weeks for us to get a finalized notice. If you plan on writing off the car on your taxes, let them know and you will receive a 1098-C.
