That's whatI figure I would do Amy - and I think that's a great idea - set a time limit with Half.com - once it's over a month (that sounds likea good time frame) then whatever you don't sell with half.com - go to ebookdrop - and if ebookdrop doens't take it - donate it to the nearest thrift shop. In the end EVERYONE is happy!!!

Cercis - not only charities sell their books there... There are actualy people that just want to get rid of their one book an dpossibly make a little bit back (75 cents) I agree it sucks to have to compete with the other people and make your item cheaper then everyone elses, but in the end, if you sell your book aren't you happy that it's not cluttering your book shelf anymore? I know I AM!

CJ, I was looking at this as a way to make money, not just a way to get rid of the book. Once I messed with shipping (and the supplies) the money would not be worth it to me (at 75 cents). I'd rather just give it to goodwill.

Wow, now I'm not feeling so bad they didn't want any of my books.

I hope they get it together and get payments out soon. It could be that they are so busy with tax calculations they haven't had a chance.

The first two times I used them, the check was very prompt. This last time, and without this thread, I'd actually forgotten they owed me money. Let me investigate.

I suppose though, the likely excuse I'll hear, is that they didn't receive the books I sent, and of course I didn't send it with delivery confirmation, but thats bad business.

Re: Ebookdrop - for those that have used this

I just went on to the ebookdrop website. A message reads that it's "offline due to maintenance. Please check back later". Doesn't sound too promising for those of us who have outstanding orders with them...

That makes me livid! How can they take our books and then not pay?

                      Class action, anyone? Just kidding....

I just received payments for some of my outstanding orders (a total of $17.12 out of about $34 worth). Hopefully they're back up and running and the rest will come soon!

I was just going to send them some books as I am in a major decluttering phase.

Anyone else have luck with payment?
