I do take a few of the salt packets. I keep them in my car because they never seem to give them ot you when you go thru the drive in window. I can't eat a hamburger without some salt on it. I never take ketchup.

I always get extra of the condiments. There are so many times that I have ran out of ketchup and happen to have a bunch in the door of the fridge. The kids love the hot mustard from mcdonalds. So I always save what I get and they don't use. At taco bell I have been known to take extra sauce packets. and I have been known to "borrow" programs from my dad. Didn't ask where he got them!

hmmm, i thought i posted this already.

I conduct a fair amount of personl business on office time, but then again, so does my boss. It's hard for most people, i think, to take care of everything before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Hey if Taco bell would sell their sausce I would buy it! but they don't around here . Besides I have occasionally gone to taco bell soly for the purpose of getting more sauce, and of course I buy some tacos while there, I figure they are making money on that one.

Are you sure they don't sell it in your area? Even here (80% hispanic) the grocery stores carry a line of taco bell products - including sauce.

i do the same. i do taht at arbys too, and our arbys does not sell it, ive begged, they did in michigan, dont here in missouri. for the cost of arbys, i feel a few extra packets is worth it, i mean 5 bucks for a sandwich alone? i use an arbys sauce to flavor my pork chops, its awesome.!

I always use my mothers pens. I keep using them until they run out of ink. Once the ink has run out I then put them back and get some more that works.

nah, seeing so many people get caught stealing at wally world, i stay on the straight and narrow.

those coupons someone was using 4x, that's illegal. they can get you for that. I worked those self checks for months. and if i'd a been working, i'd a seen you and security would be having a little get together with ya. I know you think you're saving $, but it really does hurt the prices for everyone else---actually it doesn't, but you're certainly guaranteeing minimum wage jobs for the workers. (that's why they are multi-billion dollar company, low prices are created from low wages y'know)

People were always trying to get away with stuff. like the guy who walked around the store with oh, 15 dvds. then when he went to the checkout i asked him if he needed help, who they were for, etc. He played it cool, and for some reason couldn't seem to find his card and left....hmmmm.

then of course you got yer, i already scanned that folks. the reason people have problems is b/c of the scale. Large items need to hit "skip bagging" like your 24 packs, dog food, etc. Lighter items aren't read by scale, but are by the bar code. The scale then waits, but the item isn't heavy enuf, so it "times out" and says please place item in bag area. during this time people have already "run" 6 items over the laser and into the bag- i've seen it ALL.

Re: Do you do anything questionable to save money?

Wow, I had no idea. You'd think they'd get rid of the stupid things.

I HATE the self check-outs and refuse to use them. They seem to hate me too. If my DH uses one when I'm there, guaranteed it will freak out and we'll have to have a worker come over. It never happens when he's alone. I've even made the whole row of them freak at the same time (maybe I'm telekinetically powerful when it comes to machines I hate?). Seriously, when I'm in the store, I have to avoid them, if I'm even in the row next to one 70% of the time it will mess up.

Now, maybe they mess up that much on their own, I don't know, but people say they are so great and never see them mess up.

But, they do seem to make it easy for people to steal. Stores should get rid of them and hire actual people.

Yeah, I know. But when ever I was about to go and buy some I always use to forget. I do actually buy them now as I am alot older. When I use to use my mothers pens was when I was in school. I don't actually do it now.
