I just got off the phone with Emigrant Direct and they told me that their website will be changing this afternoon with their new credit card offer that will pay rewards into your account every 6 months, I am still anxiously waiting for the unveiling. They also said that depending on your balance with Emigrant will change your reward level.

So check the Emigrant Direct this afternoon.

I would be interested to see how they handle Credit Card customer service. And if they will have a decent web interface for it. I don't know if I would trade in my Citibank Card for this just yet. It is nice to know that you have the backing of a large bank behind you if you need to dispute charges, change personal info, etc..

They just posted the offer. On their site. It looks like you can earn up to 1.25% back based on your current savings balance.

I have a Discover Card that pays I believe 2% and 5% for gas purchases, I don't know what to make of this new Emigrant offer is it really good?
