my user name is that tish is my name, short for patricia. most people call me tish tho. and acezz4e is for my online euchre league. thats the link name stands for acezz for euchre. it just turned 3 yrs old yesterday. weeeeee. its fun and gets out the daily stresses. meet interesting people all over, like my aussie friend i posted about, i also have nz friends, canadian, england and all over usa and canada.
Mine is a little odd! During the '80s ther was graphic novel (heh, heh - comic book) named GrimJack. He was my hero for a long time - not the usual hero, not an anti-hero - just an aging realist living is an unpredictable world. I was just getting into computers and jumping onto what was becoming the internet. I chose the name of a cynical optimist who knows people only think they want to know the truth.
Angst driven for a time when angst was necessary - I took his name as mine.
And the comic has been rescued from a complicated sort of hell called corporate bankruptcy.
lol. i never heard of it. i was on the road tho mostly in 85, school before that. althought my bf at the time was jack and our relationship ended up grim.lol welcome to savingadvice. huggellzz.
I got the name from my friend Miguel. He told me that he respected me because I always acted like a lady. He told this to my mom and dad and it really stuck with me.
Mine is rather self explanatory I am a Grandma and a Mom. Most Grandmas are but I have an extra reason. I have a 2 year old as does my DS and my DD. We hope to have more kids this year as well (although I think 2006 will be the year I don't add to my grandchild list)
There are two facets to my username. I played Everquest for years and the last character I had was Catlinye Maker (gnome tinkerer and tradeskiller, for anyone familiar with the game.) I retired from the work world a few years ago in part to have more (any!) time to create: I love to quilt and bake. So the name is unique -- much easier to pass the unique ID filters on messageboards than my real (very common) name, and reflects both the past and my aspirations.
Kitscott was my first user name short for Kit’s Cottage my house name. So when I lost that email address, I became Kitty in most forums, now I use Tightwad Kitty as I am a bit of a tightwad when it come to thinking up strategies to save money. And I spend more time on saving money sites.
akaivyleaf....takes one to know one, but I'll explain it here. I'm in a sorority whose letters are AKA and whose symbol is the Ivy Leaf. Really simple to those who know but some who don't assume my given name is ivy or something...
