Does anyone know where I can go online to get a digital camera that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I did find a web site and the digital camera I am looking for is a good price, but it is refurbished. Does have a 3 1/2 star for their web site. Just don't want to get screwed on getting the camera and it not work properly. Thanks!

I have been in the market myself.... I'm not knowing how much you wanna spend... but this is the one that I think I am going to pick up

you may wanna try going onto www.blackfriday.org and see what the good deals are for after turkey day.... but this is by FAR the best deal that I have seen out there!

Have you tried Amazon.com ? I do most of my shopping there.

      For bargain hunting try:

Comparison shop for in . See store ratings and reviews and find the best prices on with PriceGrabber's shopping search engine.

Find the best prices and places to buy. Google Shopping organizes information from thousands of online and local stores for you.

Yahoo Shopping is your guide to the latest deals and product reviews from the stores you love. Find sales and discounts on featured brands, shop for gifts, read our buying guides and more.

I wouldn't limit myself to a particular site. Good deals come and go and your best bet is watching the deal sites. I have several that I constantly monitor through their RSS feeds. If you do a google search for "good deals", "camera deals", "slick deals", "hot deals", etc., you'll find them.

You have to be ready to pull the trigger on a deal when it comes along though. Because of the high exposure, the deals can sell out quickly.

Also check out overstock.com and smartbargains.com. I've ordered things from both sites multiple times and never had a problem.

for a good small point and shoot, I'd recommend the Canon S80 ( http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons80/page14.asp ) which costs about $500

for a digital SLR, I'd recommend in order (based on your price sensitivity): Canon 1-DsMkII ($8000)
                Canon 5D ($3300)
                Canon 20D ($1200)
                Canon 350D ($900)

I would strongly recommend B&H photo ( www.bhphotovideo.com )followed by Adorama ( www.adorama.com )to be your source of purchase. Not only do they offer prices highly competitive with any other online dealer, but they are real brick and mortar stores in Manhattan not too far from the Empire State Building which you can visit. They do not practice high-pressure sales tactics and are absolutely reputable and will accept your returns without question. I have no ties with either store but have bought many of my digital equipment from them since 1997. I have had bad experiences with several other online vendors but I will not name them here.

Check out Newegg.com I don't know what kind of digital camera you are looking for, but we've bought lots of things from them. They ship quickly, and shipping is reasonable. I've gotten accessories for my Olympus digital camera (rechargable batteries, battery charger, xD disc), a DVD-rom drive for my computer, and more RAM for my computer. All were cheaper than I could have gotten from stores like Best Buy. Check out how their digital camera prices compare.
