Do you still send cards for events or have you moved to electronic greetings? I still feel it is more proper to send birthday and holiday greeting cards through regular mail instead of ecards. Am I just behind the times?

Re: Do you still send cards?
I send real cards to people I really care about - the ones I'm sure won't chuck it straight into the garbage immediately after opening it. Other people get e-cards. I love getting real mail from real people. I think I appreciate it a lot more now because it is so rare.

Re: Do you still send cards?
I do both. For Birthdays I tend to send cards by snail mail, but at Christmas and other holidays I send e-cards to those who use email and regular cards to those who don't. We still have some family members and friends who never use a computer, if you can imagine that! :-)

Re: Do you still send cards?
Err if I remembered they were havining a birthday I would send a car, but I never do, lucky if anyone gets a call in the same week (and VERY lucky if the birthday is mentioned!)
I know that is terrible, something I am working on.
Oh but if I were to send a card, I have kids, they make them
Cheap and means a lot to the relatives.

Re: Do you still send cards?
I really want to stop. What is the point of sending Christmas cards to people you don't even interact with over the course of the year! Birthday cards are a horse of a different color and I usually send them or hand them to immediate family members and very close friends. It can get very expensive after a while!!

Re: Do you still send cards?
I enjoy writing letters and sending cards, not just for birthdays and holidays! My friends and I all enjoy sending and receiving mail. It's nice to get a surprise in the mailbox instead of just staying in touch by emails.
